Top 5 Must Have Apps for Bloggers

When I began blogging back in May 2016, all I needed was my iPhone camera, Instagram app and I was good to go! As time went on, I quickly realised that there are so many apps out on the market which could help improve the quality of my blog posts, keep me connected to other bloggers and give me some inspiration for future posts.

Apart from the obvious social media apps such as Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, I thought it would be a good idea to share some apps that I use for pretty much all of my blog posts. The best thing about them is that they are all free and are available for iOS, Android, as well as desktop computers! I know that there are plenty of apps out there which do all sorts of magical things, but I wanted to share apps that are user-friendly and have helped improve my blog posts over time.

Picmonky

If you are new to blogging and you want to improve the quality of your images, then I highly recommend that you check out Picmonkey. You can do anything from photo editing, collage making or graphic designing. Similarly to photoshop, Picmonkey contains the curves tool which is very popular among bloggers.

WordPress/Blogger

Depending on which platform your blog is on, blogger & WordPress have their own app where you can write & edit posts, share photos and respond to any comments on the go! Providing that you have set up an account, you are also able to check your stats to see how you are performing.

Bloglovin

You are able to follow your favourite blogs, interact with other bloggers and get their latest posts straight to your feed. I get a lot of my blog post ideas and image inspiration from Bloglovin and it’s also a great way to get your blog noticed:)

IFFTT (if this then that)

If you are not the most organised person like me, then you need this app in your life! It saves you from having to download various plugins and automates everything for you- It allows you to automate your blogging and social media among other things by setting conditions for different apps. You can read more about it here!

Ginger

It can be downloaded on your mobile or desktop to ensure that your text is written quickly, accurately and is of the highest calibre. I mainly use it to check my grammar and rephrase any sentences that I am unsure of. It is also extremely quick & easy to use and also great for when you are on the go and need to get something posted quickly!

I hope you have enjoyed this post and gained some inspiration for which apps you can to can use to improve your blog post. Which apps do you like to use for blogging? xx
